Professional Development Session

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and actively participated in our Professional Development Program. Your enthusiasm, engagement, and valuable insights made this event truly meaningful.
We had incredible discussions on the IEN pathways, scope of practice, success strategies, challenges, and professional growth—all complemented by a fantastic presentation on academic and professional development, updated educational requirements from CNO, and RNAO membership and its benefits.

Health Promotion Program

NNAC, in collaboration with the Nepalese Canadian Heritage Centre, successfully organized a health awareness and promotion program on January 19, 2025. The session, focused on heart health during winter, was led by Parwati Pandey and Chandra Kafle, has been both insightful and engaging. It emphasized the importance of preventive measures to reduce the risk of cardiac problems and promote heart-healthy behaviors.

Integration of IENs into Canadian workforce

NNAC organized a webinar on June 22, 2024, focusing on the integration of Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) into the Canadian workforce. The session aimed to provide guidance on the licensing process, career pathways, and overcoming challenges faced by IENs in Canada.
